Join us for this full-body strengthening and lengthening class. We'll target several important body-wide fascial lines as well as all the major muscle groups, gaining strength and flexibility in our entire bodies.
What is Fascia? Fascia is connective tissue. It's found throughout the body, and although it varies in function and physical presentation, it has some commonalities. Namely, it is elastic, lubricated, and communicative. Fascia includes our tendons and ligaments, but is also found around our organs and our muscles, as well as the muscles bundles, and muscle fibers. Our understanding of the role of fascia is still developing, but it's becoming very obvious how important fascia is to the functioning of our bodies and how caring for it improves our quality of life.
